Is it possible to book a house for 6 people. And to put a small tent on the site as we are 7 people?

No, this is strictly forbidden.

You can either rent 2 accomodations ;  or rent an accomodation for 6 people and a pitch for the remaining person.

When should we pay the balance for the stay?

The stay must have been entirely paid at least 30 days before the date of arrival.

When is the earliest I can leave the campsite?

The gates of the campsite are closed from 23.30 to 7.00.

However, it is possible, in case of emergency to leave the campsite at night. You will then have to get in touch with the reception, in order to settle the departure formalities and organize your departure with the security service.

Is there a shuttle between the airport and the campsite?

No, but we can organize your transport with a partner taxi at a preferential rate. If you are interested, please contact the reception no later than 72 hours before the desired date.

Is there security on site ?

The campsite has permanent security and protection, 24/24 by a security team.

Is there a Doctor ?

Yes, during the summer (July and August), a doctor visits the Camping La Yole twice a day, by appointment taken at the Info Point. The Doctor goes to see the clients directly on their rentals/pitches.

Do you have Wi-Fi ?

We have paid Wi-Fi services. We offer several packages: 60 mins; 1 day; 7 days; 14 days; 1 month and 3 months. You receive one code per device. The Wi-Fi connection is only for classic use (mails, general web surfing, this does not include videos, video games, and online TV).

Can people come and visit me ?

Yes, you can receive visitors. They must present themselves at the reception with you, and will then receive special “visitors” bracelets. This will not cost the visitors anything. However, they will not be able to access the campsite facilities (swimming pools, tennis courts, etc.) or participate in the activities. They must leave the campsite by 11.30 pm at the latest.

Can my children come unaccompanied?

Your children may come unaccompanied, provided they are accompanied by other adult adults and provided they provide parental authorization from both parents and a photocopy of their identity documents.

Are water slides regulated?

Yes, our biggest slide of 9.50m is forbidden for children under 8 years unaccompanied by an adult. Our average slide is forbidden for children under 10 years without an adult. The other slides have free access. However, children remain under the responsibility of their parents.

What kind of sports equipments can i find on the campsite ?

On site, you can find an aquatic park, a multi sports field, a French boules field and tennis courts.
Tennis courts: July and August: inscription at the Locaclub (3 € / hour, 2€ / half hour). May, June, September: free access to the tennis courts (key can be collected at the Locaclub).

What kind of animations are proposed by the campsite ?

There are day time animations: aqua gym in the pool, sports activities, archery, fencing, the adventure park, danses du soleil, playground, kids’ animations (5 – 12 years, places are limited) and youth club for the teenagers (July/august). As well as animations at night: mini disco for the kids, thematic evenings, evening shows, bar.

What kinds of animations are proposed for the kids ?

The animation team proposes entertainment for children from 5 to 12 years (places are limited) : during 2 hours in the morning and during 2 hours in the afternoon (except saturday) (nb the proposed activities are not comparable to babysitting, the level of entertainment offered is not suitable for toddlers that is to say not suitable for children under age of 5)

  • two play areas within the site (free)
  • lagoon with games and paddling in the water park (free)
  • carousel, mini golf and a trampoline (paid access)
  • the animal farm of domaine la yole (animals and various events, paid access)

Are dogs allowed on the campsite and in the accommodations ?

Yes, dogs are allowed on the campsite and in some accommodations (4.90€ / night). They must be vaccinated and tattooed, and must be held on a leash in the campsite. First category dogs are not allowed. Pit bulls and Rottweilers must be muzzled.

Are dogs allowed on the beach ?

No, dogs are not allowed on the beach.

What type of barbecue is allowed ?

Only charcoal and gas barbecues are allowed. Electric grills are not allowed.

What is the size of the campsite ?

The site covers 23 hectares. The campsite is divided into ten sectors. See the map of the campsite.

Where are the mobile homes situated on the site ?

The mobile homes are installed at various locations throughout the campsite.

Allocation :
Accommodations are given without any difference, according to the arrival of the bookings. We try our best to take into account your preferences, however without guarantee. The allocation and the name of the area in which is situated the accommodation will be known only on the day of arrival.

How many people can settle in an accommodation ?

The capacity is different depending on the type of accommodation (from 2 to 6 people maximum, including children and babies).

Are there special areas reserved for campers ?

There are several areas specially equipped for campers. Each area has its own sanitary building (except area citron and orange).

Allocation :
Pitches are given without any difference; according to the arrival of the bookings we try our best to take into account your preferences, however without guarantee. The allocation and the name of the area in which is situated the accommodation will be known only on the day of arrival.

How many people can settle on a pitch ?

The campsite can accommodate up to 6 people on a pitch (children and babies included).

Which kind of connections can i find on a pitch ?

Each pitch has 3 connections :

  • Single pitch: water, electricity (5-amp 1200w) and sewage disposal.
  • Comfort pitch: water, electricity (10-amp) and sewage disposal, own sanitary, private parking.

Adaptor

An adaptor for french plugs (a majority) can be borrowed from the reception. Deposit 15 €.

Is water and electricity included in the price ?

Water and electricity (5a or 10a) are included in the price of the pitch.

Is there possibility to empty the toilets on the pitch ?

No, the individual drain can eventually be used to evacuate the water of the dishes, but not of the toilets. There is a service area for this on the campsite.

Are the pitches shady ?

Generally yes, but the position of the sun varies at the moments of the day. Some areas may also be pruned or sunny.

What kind of equipment can i find in a mobile home’s kitchen ?
  • A gas cooker in the mobile homes and an electrical cooker in merlot (the empty gas bottles are exchanged by the technical team by a simple visit of the reception or info point),
  • A microwave,
  • A refrigerator,
  • Dinner set for the number of guests who can stay in the mobile home.

You can find an inventory list in every type of mobile home.

Are sheets and blankets included ?

Blankets and pillows are available in all accommodations. There are certain accommodations where the sheets are included; the Merlot First and the Merlot Premium. In the other accommodations the sheets are not included; in which case you can rent them on site at the locaclub.

Are accommodations equipped with a television ?

There are certain accommodations with televisions; the Merlot First and the Merlot Premium. The other accommodations don’t have televisions. There is no rental service for televisions (the mobile homes are not equipped with antennas). Major events are broadcasted at the bar of the campsite.

Is it possible to rent a baby cot or a high chair ?

Yes, rental service for baby cots and high chairs are available at the locaclub.

Is the cleaning of my accommodation included in the price ?

No, you have to clean by yourself before you return the keys. You can make an appointment for the final control.
Else, you have the possibility to book a cleaning package, costs: 85€. When it’s not clean, 100€ will be charged.

Where can i park my car ?

Car parking for one car is provided on the pitch. An additional car (paid in some periods, see prices camping) must be parked on one of the campsite’s carpark on the entrance of the campsite (spaces on the carparks are limited)

In july/august, the access gates of the camping close at 11:30 pm. After closing of the barriers, cars are to be parked on the parking near the entrance of the campsite (subject to availability).

Is it obliged to wear a bracelet ?

Yes, the bracelet is obligatory, it gives you access to the water park, to join water games and the danses du soleil!
The danses du soleil, are everyday at noon at the water park!

How is the water park set up ?

The water park at domaine la yole is made up with 6 pools (more than 1000m2 of water) and surrounded by 3000m2 of converted beach, and some long chairs.

Heated parts (depending of the weather) :

  • Slides: access to children measuring over 1.30m or more (or accompanied by an adult)
  • A lagoon with games for children in the water: 0.30 m depth
  • Pool 2 : 10 x 20m, 1,60 m depth

Unheated :

  • Whirlpool: 0.90 m

And of course the covered pool : 10 x 20 m, 1.90 m deep

Is the water park heated ?

The water park has heated parts:

No, the wearing of shorts is not allowed, only bathing suits are allowed.

How far is the town center of valras-plage ?

The town center of valras-plage is at 3 km. The little train from valras makes round trips between downtown and the campsite (paid service).

Which are the general booking conditions ?

TERMS AND CONDITIONSOF BOOKINGS 2017

1. MINIMUM STAY:

Pitches : minimum 7 night stay from 08/07/2017 to 26/08/2017, with the possibility of choosing your days of arrival and departure (depending on availability).

The pitches are available for rental from 2:00 pm onwards. Checking-out takes place between 08:00 am and 11:00 am. Each pitch is intended for 1 family (parents and children) and 1 basic set up. Extra installations are allowed as long as they fit onto the pitch (Total set up must not exceed 4 elements/pitch).

Rentals : From 08/07 to 26/08/2017: weekly stays : from Saturday to Saturday, from Sunday to Sunday, or from Wednesday to Wednesday (depending on availability).

Other periods: minimum 2 night stay, with daily arrivals and departures.

Keys will be handed over from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm. Checking-out by 10:00 am at the latest, by appointment with our service team. The appointment time depends on availability, and the appointment has to be made at least two days before  departure. If departure takes place before the inventory is checked, your deposit will only be refunded to you, after our team members have checked the accommodation’s condition.

2. BOOKING

Your reservations will only be effective subject to our confirmation and upon receipt of the completed contract, the relevant deposit, and the €30 reservation fee, which will not be refunded to customers in the event of cancellation.

Payments sent to us without the completed contract shall in no way constitute an effective and valid reservation.

– The contract shall be established in the name of the person making the reservation and cannot be transferred to another person (7 day withdrawal period).

– The pitches and property rentals are allocated without distinction and according to the order in which reservations are made, and depend on availability. Nevertheless, we do make every effort to take your preferences into account.

– Pitches: you will receive a confirmation of your reservation along with a pitch number. However, if the pitch number was to be changed by our services, it shall in no way entitle the customer to claim any compensation. Each modification request (dates of the stay, number of guests, pitches, etc.) may also result in a change to the initial pitch number.

– Rentals: accommodation numbers will only be communicated upon arrival.

– Any reservation made by a minor (person under 18), or which includes a minor who is not accompanied by his or her legal guardian, will be rejected.

3. DOWN PAYMENT

30% of the total cost of your stay + €30 reservation fees, for all bookings made more than 30 days before the arrival date specified in the contract.

100% of the total cost of your stay for bookings made less than 30 days before the arrival date specified in the contract.

Accepted means of payment :  credit card and bank transfer.

4. BALANCE PAYMENT

Stay must have been fully paid 30 days before arrival date.

If we do not receive your payment within this deadline, your reservation will be cancelled and your deposit will not be refunded to you.

There will be no reductions for late arrivals or early departures.

You must inform the reception about visitors, and elements or services inducing additional charges. Your visitors are not permitted to participate in the site’s activities or use its facilities ( Water Park, tennis courts, etc.)

5. SECURITY DEPOSIT

For rentals: the person making the reservation must pay a security deposit of €270 (cash or credit card only) per rental on the day of arrival. This security deposit will be refunded on the day of departure (*) after deducting any costs incurred to clean or repair the accommodation and replace missing or damaged equipment. A fixed sum of €110 will be deducted from the deposit if the accommodation has not been cleaned on the day of departure.

(*) In July and August, checking-out takes place on Saturdays, Sundays, and Wednesdays  between 7:30 am and 10:00 am. If you leave at any time outside these hours, your security deposit will only be refunded after we have verified the condition of the rental property.

For Comfort pitches the security deposit is €100 (cash or credit card only).

6. CANCELLATION POLICY

Cancellation without insurance

RENTALS  and PITCHES

If your cancellation (cancellation receipt date taken into account) occurs :

> more than 31 days before your arrival  : NO CANCELLATION FEES.

> between the 30th and 16th day before your arrival : the booking fees will be charged to you as well as 50% of the amount of your stay.

> between the 15th and 8th day before your arrival : the booking fees will be charged to you as well as 80% of the total amount of your stay.

> less than 7 days before your arrival, failure to turn up, late arrival, or early departure : Neither the booking fees nor the cost of your stay will be refunded.

Cancellation guarantee

With Campsite La Yole you’re given the possibility to subscribe to a cancellation and stay interruption insurance with your booking contract. Our partners, Gritchen Affinity, undertake to refund part or the entire cost of our customers’ stays.  In the event of cancellation, cancellation requests must be communicated to the campsite in writing (email, postal letter) immediately after occurrence of the event causing the cancellation. If the event inducing your cancellation is foreseen in the general terms and conditions (more info on www.campez-couvert.com or directly through the campsite), your request must be communicated to the insurance company within 48 hours after the event has occurred along with the necessary documentation and information justifying the cancellation.

The cancellation insurance amounts to 2.7% of the total cost of your stay.

7. NO SHOW

In the absence of a written document by the person making the booking, stating that he/she has had to delay the date of his/her arrival, the booked accommodation or pitch will remain available until midday the following day. After that period of time, the accommodation or pitch will be available for rental again. In the event of late arrival or early departure, the customer shall in no way be entitled to a reduction or compensation.

8. Customers must comply with the campsite regulations. Management reserves the right to evict any client who does not abide by the campsite regulations, causes a nuisance, behaves aggressively, or provides false information about the persons accompanying them, without prior notice or reimbursement. Vehicles are prohibited from entering or leaving the campsite between 11:30 pm and 07:00 am.

9. Customers must have a third-party liability insurance policy and a ‘holiday rental insurance extension’ to cover the accommodation.

10. The names of all customers staying in the campsite must be mentioned in the present contract. Management reserves the right to deny families entry to the campsite if they arrive with a number of persons that exceeds the maximum capacity of the rented accommodation (maximum of 2, 4, 5, or 6 guests including children and babies, depending on the type of rental property) or camping pitch (maximum 6 guests, including children and babies). The same conditions apply to families who provide false information when making their reservation. We will also refuse entry to the campsite to customers whose behavior causes a nuisance disturbing the peace and calm of the campsite, and whose behavior conflicts with the campsite’s general regulations. All persons staying on the campsite, including visitors (visitor bracelet), must wear their bracelet. Bracelet loss will be charged.

11. CONSUMER DISPUTE

MEDIATION PROCESS

In accordance with the provisions of the French Consumer Code concerning consumer dispute mediation processes, customers have the right to use the ombudsman services suggested by SA Camping de la Yole free of charge. Proposed Consumer Law ombudsman service is MEDICYS.

Intern campsite rules

Campsite rules (rules extract)

Complete rules are posted in front of the reception.

The security guards are present to ensure security and to assure that rules are observed by all. For a pleasant stay, please take notice of the following.

  1. Electricity

The electric circuits must have proper earth connections, non conform plugs will be disconnected. You can only use power for lighting, tv and fridge. Electric barbecues are not allowed (5a-1200w)

  1. Fire

Open fire is strictly forbidden. Next to the barbecue you should keep at least 5 liters of water available. If not the use of the barbecue will be forbidden immediately. The barbecue should be placed far away from any installation, plants or trees, even when it’s not functioning.

  1. Animals

All animals must be kept on a leash and must be vaccinated. Owners must have their pet’s vaccination certificates and abide legislation on this subject. Please note that we do not accept breeds of dogs listed as dangerous on the campsite (First category listed dogs, under French law). Pit bulls and Rottweilers must be muzzled.

  1. Traffic

The sticker you received on arrival must be put on the lower right hand side of your windscreen. Driving and parking should be done according the road signs and directions of the guards. Traffic is not allowed between 00.00 p.m. And 7.00 am (main gate will be closed). It’s forbidden to park along the roads.

  1. Damage

Any person causing damage to plants, trees, fences and campsite property will be charged for the damage. Every camper shall leave his pitch in a neat and tidy condition. Don’t bother the neighbors with loud music or noise, don’t litter, keep helping us to keep the campsite clean:
Glass and plastic containers are at your disposal at the central parking next to the shopping center.

  1. Swimming pools

Swimming pool rules can be found on the life guard’s office door. These rules are made for your security. Please comply with them. Anyone who does not follow the security measures set out by the french swimming pool regulations will be denied access for the rest of his/her stay and this without any compensation.
The swimming shorts are prohibited.

  1. Swimmping pool entrance / beach exit

A bracelet will be given to each guest, except children under 5. The bracelet should be worn throughout the holiday.
The bracelet must be worn on the wrist and adequately adjusted.

  1. Children must be supervised by their parents all the time.
  1. Any person staying on the campsite must be checked in at the reception desk.
  1. Instructions in case of disaster (fire, flooding, etc.)

After the alarm has been given please stay on your pitch or go back to it as quickly as possible without panicking. Instructions will be given by a car with a rotating light and megaphone. This car has priority, don’t block it. Evacuation planning can be found on the board before the reception and on the outside wall of the sanitary blocks. You can find emergency phone numbers in the telephone booths.

Is the campsite accessible for disabled people ?

The camping pitches are accessible for disabled people. A map is always available at the reception.

People in a wheelchair have access to an adapted sanitary.

We have two adapted mobile homes available for disabled people.
